Who is responsible for the data

The Hotel Training Academy platform is managed by Certif Int Association OU, EE103004149, Järvevana tee 9, 11314 Tallinn, Estónia (certifinternational@gmail.com). Each training provider is responsible for the courses it publishes and the trainees it enrols.

What data we keep

For each trainee: full name, email, identification document, date of birth, nationality, job role and the unit where they work. This data is needed to issue a named certificate — without it the certificate cannot be issued.

Who sees what

The employer sees who has completed each training course, the final grade and the unit. It does not see the answers given in each test. The training provider sees progress in its courses. The platform administration sees what is needed to run the service.

Certificates

The certificates issued belong to the trainee and remain on their profile even if they leave the company or their access is deactivated.

Automatic translations

When automatic translation is switched on, the course texts are sent to the configured translation service. Trainees' personal data is never sent for translation.

Emails from training providers

A training provider may email the people connected to it — the trainees in its care, those enrolled on its courses and those who have bought courses from it. These emails are sent through the provider's own sending account (MailerSend), which receives the address, the name and the text of the message. Each one carries a link to stop receiving emails from that provider.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your data through telecertformacao@gmail.com.
